I was just interviewed on a blog entitled Write Big!

To see the interview click here!

Also, consider email subscribing to this blog. Brayden, the writer, posts a lot of fun and interesting things about writing.

Another random note for a random post. I will be giving away a copy of Bryan Davis's Starlighter in a few days. Stay tuned!

I read that interview and thought it was great.

I'm just wondering, how did you get Flmaing Pen Press to ask you to submit your manuscript?

@Squeaks, thank you very much! On all counts :D

I'll get to all the tags I've received shortly. Sometime this week I plan to.

@Joraiem, Thanks man!

The road to publication is honestly all about connections. And the way I got published feels unique to me but doesn't seem too unique the more I look at it.
I invited the owner of FPP to speak at my school as an author. And we spent the whole day just talking. At that point, I hadn't even started writing the novella yet. So I got talking to Mr. Appleton for a while.

Eventually, after he left 'cause we kept in touch, he and I were chatting. And I told him about this incredible idea that I had for a novella. I knew that FPP was looking for novellas to publish so I strategically brought it up but more than anything I wanted his professional opinion on the plot.

Well he loved the idea. And invited me to submit right then and there. lol
